The Udall Foundation awards scholarships to college sophomores and juniors for leadership, public service, and commitment to issues related to Native American nations or to the environment.

Eligibility

• Sophomore or junior status
• For tribal policy and native health care policy awards:
  • Commitment to issues related to Native American nations
  • Enrollment in state or federally recognized tribe or band
  • Permanent U.S. resident or U.S. citizen who is a member of the First Nations of Canada
• For environmental policy award:
  • Commitment to issues related to the environment
  • Permanent U.S. resident or U.S. citizen

Award Benefits

• $7,000 scholarship
• Five-day professional development and networking summer event in Arizona

Deadline

The campus deadline is in early February. The national deadline is in early March.
