Gilman Scholarship

https://www.gilmanscholarship.org/

The Gilman Scholarship is for undergraduate students with Pell Grants. It pays for students to do academic study and credit-bearing internships abroad. The goal of the program is to better prepare U.S. students to assume significant roles in an increasingly global economy and interdependent world.

Because it is so important for students to choose an international program that fits their goals, the Office of Global and National Fellowships parters with the Study Abroad office in advising for the Gilman Scholarship.

Interested students should register for and attend our Gilman 101 info sessions, Jan. 29- 31 from 3:00-4:00 pm on Zoom and Feb. 1–2 from 10:00-11:00 am in-person. If you can’t attend the session live, email fellowships@missouri.edu. After attending or watching a Gilman 101 recording, students meet with a study abroad and fellowships adviser for 1-on-1 help choosing their programs and crafting their applications.
